Kybella is an injectable form of deoxycholic acid, a substance your body already uses to break down dietary fat. Your nurse injects it into the pocket of fat under the chin, where it disrupts the fat cells so the body can clear them.
Kybella is not a filler and it is not a neurotoxin. Fillers add volume and neurotoxins relax muscle. Kybella reduces a fat pocket, so it suits a full under-chin area rather than loose skin, which responds to different treatments.
Most patients need more than one session spaced several weeks apart, and the change builds gradually. Fat cells that are cleared do not come back, but the area is not protected from future weight gain, so results depend on your own weight over time. Individual results vary.
InjectCo is 100% nurse-led. Every Kybella appointment is handled by a trained nurse with physician oversight, so you are working with someone who understands both the clinical side of the treatment and the Southlake community they serve.
Kybella may fit adults with moderate to severe submental fullness whose skin still has reasonable elasticity.
If the concern is loose skin rather than fat, your provider may discuss chin filler, skin tightening or a surgical opinion instead.

Approved patients can begin treatment the same day and pay over time instead of all at once.
How it works: apply online with CareCredit or Cherry in a few minutes, get a decision on the spot, then bring your approval to your appointment. Our team can help you compare options during your consultation and apply on the day if you prefer.
Terms and rates are set by the financing provider. Your nurse will walk you through your total cost, including any financing fee, before anything is booked.
Vial count depends on how much fullness is present and the size of the area. Most patients need more than one session. Your nurse gives you a realistic estimate at your assessment rather than a guess over the phone.
Pick your treatment areas and get an instant unit and cost estimate. It takes about a minute and gives you a realistic number to bring to your Southlake assessment.

Kybella is often planned alongside chin filler or jawline work, because reducing fullness can reveal how much of the profile was structural. Your nurse sequences them rather than doing everything at once.
Before treatment, your provider explains:
The provider marks a treatment grid beneath the chin and places a series of small injections into the submental fat.
FDA labeling permits up to 50 injections during one treatment, with sessions scheduled at least one month apart. The number used for your appointment depends on the size of the treatment area and the clinical plan.
Swelling beneath the chin is expected. Your provider explains how to care for the area, what symptoms are normal, and when to contact the clinic.

InjectCo currently charges $799 per vial. The total depends on how many vials are used during each session and how many sessions your treatment plan includes.
The number varies based on the amount of fat and the result requested. FDA labeling permits up to six sessions, scheduled at least one month apart, though many patients will not need the maximum.
The body clears the affected fat cells gradually. InjectCo states that this commonly takes four to six weeks and may take up to eight weeks.
Kybella destroys treated fat cells, and those cells can no longer store fat. The visible profile may still change with weight gain, aging, skin laxity, or changes in surrounding tissue.
Swelling is expected and may be noticeable for several days. Bruising, pain, numbness, redness, and firmness can also occur.
Kybella is an injectable treatment with no incisions or general anesthesia. It may require several sessions and can cause visible swelling after each one.
Kybella reduces selected fat cells but does not directly tighten loose skin. Significant laxity may require a skin-tightening treatment or surgical consultation.
Kybella is FDA approved for moderate to severe fat beneath the chin in adults. Safe and effective use in other areas has not been established and is not recommended in the prescribing information.
Important risks include nerve injury that may cause an uneven smile or facial weakness, difficulty swallowing, tissue damage, ulceration, and infection.
Kybella treatment at InjectCo is performed by licensed registered nurses under physician supervision. Kybella is FDA-approved for submental fullness in adults.
Known risks include swelling that can last days to weeks, bruising, numbness, and areas of firmness under the chin. Less commonly, injury to a nerve in the jaw can cause a temporary uneven smile, and difficulty swallowing has been reported. Tell your provider about any prior neck surgery or swallowing difficulty.
Results vary between individuals. Most patients need more than one session spaced at least a month apart. Destroyed fat cells do not regenerate, though the treated area is not immune to future weight gain.
Individual results vary. This treatment may not be suitable for everyone. Consult your medical provider.
