Stefanie, BSN, RN and Jill, BSN, RN
PDO thread lift treatments in Colleyville, TX are offered at InjectCo MedSpa, 6222 Colleyville Blvd, Suite B, where Stefanie, BSN, RN, or Jill, BSN, RN, places every thread under the medical direction of Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director. The lift shows the same day, the threads dissolve in about six months, and the collagen they prompt often keeps the skin firmer for longer. Pricing is set at your consultation.
A thread lift suits mild to moderate sagging. It repositions skin that has started to drop; it does not add volume and it is not surgery. Comparing it with other options first? Our Colleyville med spa page lists every treatment we offer.

Threads reposition and tighten skin that has dropped. They do not restore lost volume. When a cheek has flattened as well as sagged, your nurse may suggest dermal fillers in Colleyville alongside the threads, so each part of the change is handled by the right tool.
Over the following months your body absorbs the threads, and new collagen forms along the path each one leaves. That is why skin often looks firmer at two or three months than it did at two weeks. Our guide to what a PDO thread lift is covers the science in more depth, and our PDO thread lift treatment page explains the options.
At InjectCo Colleyville, your nurse looks at how far the skin has dropped, how thick it is and how it moves when you talk before suggesting any threads. If your laxity is beyond what threads can lift, you will hear that at the first visit.

A Tarleton State University nursing graduate, Stefanie, BSN, RN, works as a Clinical Aesthetic Nurse Injector in Colleyville and is certified in dermal fillers and neurotoxins, so she can tell you when a thread, a filler or both make sense.

Jill, BSN, RN, moved into aesthetics after working in pediatric critical care, and PDO thread lifts are among the treatments listed on her InjectCo profile. She is the second Clinical Aesthetic Nurse Injector at this clinic.
Stefanie and Jill work under the medical direction of Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director, whose written protocols cover thread lifts at all nine InjectCo clinics in Texas.
In Texas a thread lift is a medical procedure. 22 Texas Administrative Code §169.25 lets a physician delegate it to a registered nurse after an evaluation and under written protocols. That is the framework used at our Colleyville clinic; it does not mean a physician performs each thread lift.
SURGICAL LIFT

Most patients want to know how many threads they will need before they book.
The honest answer depends on how far the skin has dropped, how thick it is and which direction it needs to move, and none of that can be judged from a photo.
Some patients need a few cog threads along one side of the jaw.
Others choose a fuller plan across the mid-cheek, jowls and neck, sometimes with mono threads for texture.
Your nurse explains the thread type, count, areas and cost before anything is placed.
Approved patients can begin treatment the same day and pay over time instead of all at once.
How it works: apply online with CareCredit or Cherry in a few minutes, get a decision on the spot, then bring your approval to your appointment. Our team can help you compare options during your consultation and apply on the day if you prefer.
Terms and rates are set by the financing provider. Your nurse will walk you through your total cost, including any financing fee, before anything is booked.
Many Colleyville patients pair a thread lift with filler for lost volume or Botox for expression lines. The calculator estimates filler syringes and Botox units so you can see a starting range for those parts of a plan. Threads are priced at your consultation.
Pick your areas and get an instant filler and Botox estimate in about a minute, then bring it to your Colleyville consultation.
This tool does not price PDO threads. Your nurse confirms products and amounts after assessing your face.

Pick a thread lift if your skin has started to drop, around the jowls, the jawline or the mid-cheek, and you want it moved back up without surgery. Threads reposition tissue; they do not add fullness.
Pick filler if the main change is lost volume, such as a hollow under the cheekbone or a deep fold, and you want the area fuller the same day. Filler adds shape but does not lift loose skin very far.
Many plans combine the two. A common pattern is threads to reposition the skin and a small amount of filler to restore volume where it has thinned. Your nurse will tell you which order makes sense for your face.
On the day, the lift is visible straight away, often with mild swelling, a feeling of tightness and small marks where the threads went in. Over the next one to two weeks the swelling settles and the lift softens into a more natural position. After that, collagen forms around the threads over the following months as they slowly dissolve.

The threads themselves dissolve in about six months. The lift and the collagen they prompt often last longer than that, but how long varies with your skin, your age and the threads used. Your nurse will tell you what to expect for your face.
Most patients say it is more uncomfortable than painful. Each entry point is numbed with a local anesthetic, so you mainly feel pressure and tugging while the threads are placed. Some tenderness for a few days afterward is normal.
They do different jobs. Threads reposition and tighten skin that has dropped; filler adds volume where it has been lost. Many plans combine them, with threads for lift and a little filler for shape. Your nurse will suggest one, the other or both after looking at your face.
Expect some swelling and bruising for a few days, and a tight or pulling feeling. For about 1 to 2 weeks, avoid opening your mouth wide, facial massage and sleeping on your face. Most people go back to work within a day or two.
Threads can tighten mild looseness along the jaw and upper neck, but they are not a surgical neck lift. If your neck skin hangs in folds, surgery is the option that removes it, and your nurse will tell you honestly if that is the case.
PDO threads are FDA-cleared medical devices, which is the correct term for absorbable sutures of this kind. Polydioxanone has been used in absorbable surgical stitches since the 1980s. You can read how the FDA clears devices on its 510(k) premarket notification page.
The price depends on the areas treated and the type and number of threads, so it is quoted at your consultation. You will see the full cost before any thread is placed. Payment plans may be available.

Threads are not placed through an active skin infection or rash, and they wait during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tell your nurse about bleeding problems, blood thinners, autoimmune conditions, a history of keloid scarring or recent dental work. Very loose, heavy skin is better treated surgically.
Yes. Southlake is about 10 minutes from the clinic, Grapevine about 13 and Keller about 19, and we also see patients from Bedford, Hurst, Euless and Coppell. We are open seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
They can be, for the right skin. Threads suit mild to moderate sagging and people who want a visible lift with a short recovery and no surgery. The result is softer and shorter-lived than a surgical lift, so if your skin is very loose, your money is better spent elsewhere. Your nurse will tell you honestly which group you are in.
The lift is more modest than surgery and fades over time as the tissue relaxes. Swelling, bruising, small dimples and some unevenness are common in the first weeks, and less often a thread can shift or show through thin skin. Some plastic surgeons are cautious about threads for these reasons, which is why we only suggest them for mild to moderate sagging and place them at a careful depth.
Neither is better overall, because they fix different problems. PDO threads lift skin that has dropped and show a change the same day. Sculptra rebuilds collagen over a series of visits to restore fullness that has thinned. If you have both sagging and volume loss, your nurse may plan threads and Sculptra together, spaced apart.
The thread lifts people regret are usually the ones that promised too much: threads placed in skin that was too loose, or used where volume was the real problem.
At InjectCo Colleyville, a registered nurse checks your skin first and tells you plainly what threads can and cannot do, with the cost set out before anything is placed.
We are open every day, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. To call or text the Colleyville team, use (817) 533-7676.
PDO threads are FDA-cleared, absorbable medical devices. Clearance means the device was shown to be substantially equivalent to one already legally sold; it is not the same as a drug approval. Your nurse uses threads from established suppliers and can tell you which product is planned. Read how the FDA clears medical devices.
Unlike permanent sutures, PDO threads break down and are absorbed by the body without needing removal. If a thread end can be felt, shows under the skin or pulls when you move, contact the clinic so your nurse can check it rather than pressing on it yourself.
A thread can shift, show through thin skin or work its way out, and infection is possible as with any procedure that breaks the skin. Rarely, a nerve or a salivary gland in the lower face can be irritated. Careful placement at the right depth is what keeps these risks low.
Early care makes these easier to fix. Call us at (817) 533-7676 or seek urgent care rather than waiting to see if they pass.
