Botox in Plano, TX is $12 a unit at InjectCo MedSpa, 5964 W Parker Rd, Suite 107, and every injection is placed by Jen Adams, BSN, RN, under physician oversight. A first treatment of the forehead and frown lines usually takes 20 to 25 units, so most patients land between $240 and $300. Results appear in three to seven days and last about three to four months.

The difference between Botox that reads as rested and Botox that reads as done is almost never the amount. It is whether anyone watched your forehead work before they treated it. Every appointment starts with an assessment of your face at rest and in motion, and the units follow that rather than a standard chart. If you are still deciding which treatment you want, start with our Plano med spa services.

What Is Botox? What Plano Patients Should Know First

Botox is a purified protein injected in small amounts to relax the specific muscles that fold your skin into lines. It does not fill anything and it does not lift. It stops the repeated movement that creates the crease, so the skin above it stays smoother. Results appear over three to seven days and last about three to four months.

Botox treats dynamic wrinkles, the lines caused by repeated muscle movement, not volume lost to aging, which is a job for filler instead. Some patients come in specifically to get ahead of a line before it is fully set, treating a forehead or frown pattern early rather than waiting for it to show at rest. That preventative approach works the same way as any other Botox plan: it is still built around your own movement, just started sooner.

The muscle groups most often treated are the frontalis for the forehead, the orbicularis oculi for crow's feet, and the glabellar complex for the elevens.

When Botox Is Not the Right Answer

Botox is a prescription medicine and it is not suitable for everyone. Tell your clinician before treatment if any of the following apply to you:

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome or ALS
  • You have an infection or an active skin condition where the injection would go
  • You have reacted badly to any botulinum toxin product before
  • You take aminoglycoside antibiotics, muscle relaxants or blood thinners

Your assessment also decides whether Botox is the right treatment in the first place. A line that is still visible when your face is completely still is usually a volume problem rather than a movement one, and filler is what addresses that. Full details are in the FDA prescribing information for Botox.

TREATMENT AREAS

What Botox Treats: Areas Our Plano Patients Choose

Botox relaxes the specific muscles that fold your skin into lines. These are the areas Plano patients most often ask about, and your assessment decides which of them your plan actually treats.
01

Forehead lines

The creases that deepen every time you lift your brows, often the reason people say they look tired even when they have slept fine. Some patients start here before the line sets at rest, treating it preventatively rather than waiting.
02

Frown lines between the brows

Softens the vertical lines between your brows, the ones that show up when you concentrate or squint into the sun. Another common preventative starting point, for the same reason.
03

Crow's feet

The lines that fan out at the corner of your eye when you smile, softened without changing the smile itself. More on crow's feet Botox in Plano.
04

Bunny lines on the nose

The small diagonal creases that appear across the bridge of your nose when you scrunch it.
05

Lip flip

Rolls the upper lip slightly outward using a few units placed above it, no filler required.
06

Chin dimpling

Smooths the dimpled texture the chin gets when you talk, purse your lips, or hold back an expression.
07

Jaw slimming and clenching

A tense or overworked masseter can square off the jaw and keep you clenching at night. This treats both from the same muscle. More on TMJ and masseter Botox in Plano.
08

Underarm sweating

Cuts sweat gland activity for hyperhidrosis, and unlike the cosmetic uses, this one tends to last longer than a typical dose.

PRODUCT OPTIONS

Botox, Dysport and Xeomin in Plano: Which One Is Right for You?

Three FDA-approved neurotoxins. Your nurse injector matches the product to how your face actually moves, not to a house preference.

BOTOX

The longest clinical record

Botox has the most clinical history behind it, which makes it the safer default when you want fine, predictable placement.

DYSPORT

Better across broader areas

Dysport does not stay as contained once it is injected, so a broader area like a full forehead is often where it gets picked instead.

XEOMIN

A bare molecule

Xeomin skips the accessory proteins that Botox and Dysport both carry, so what you are getting is just the isolated active ingredient.
ProductOften chosen forWhat sets it apart
BotoxFine, predictable placementThe longest clinical record of the three
DysportBroader areas such as a full foreheadSpreads a little further once injected
XeominA bare formulationNo accessory proteins, just the active ingredient

None of these brands dose the same way. A quote in units from one does not translate directly to another, so ask what the whole treatment costs rather than trying to compare per-unit prices across products.

Your nurse walks you through every option. No pressure to decide on the spot.

Not Sure How Many Units You Need?

Most Plano patients want a number before they walk in. The honest answer is that your unit count depends on how strong the muscle is and how long you have been treating it, which is what the assessment is for. The calculator gives you a starting figure to bring with you.

GOING FURTHER

Botox and Filler Together: What Full Facial Balancing Looks Like

Botox softens movement. Filler restores volume. Treating one when the other is the actual issue is the most common reason a result does not look the way a patient expected.

A forehead that still looks heavy after Botox is often a volume problem, not a movement one. Lips that read as thin when you smile may need a lip flip rather than a syringe. If you are not sure which one you need, that is exactly what your assessment is for. Many Plano patients end up with a small amount of both rather than more of either.

2

Prep and comfort

Numbing options are available if you want them.

Treatment

The injection itself takes about 10 to 15 minutes, in a private suite rather than an open floor.
4

Results and follow-up

Simple aftercare

  • Stay upright for at least 4 hours
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
  • Do not rub or massage the treated areas that day
Jen confirms your timeline before you leave and lets you know when to come back if a touch-up makes sense.

Frequently Asked

Frequently Asked Questions About Botox in Plano, TX

Botox is $12 a unit at InjectCo Plano. A first-time forehead and frown treatment usually runs 20 to 25 units, landing most patients between $240 and $300. Your exact total depends on your muscle strength and how many areas you treat, which Jen confirms at your assessment.

The clinic is inside Phenix Suites of Willow Bend at 5964 W Parker Rd, Suite 107, on W Parker Road just east of the Dallas North Tollway, sharing a lot with Tom Thumb. Parking is free and on site.

Jen Adams, BSN, RN, a Clinical Aesthetics Injector with more than 13 years of nursing experience, places every injection herself under physician oversight rather than handing it to whoever is free.

Yes. Willow Bend sits a few minutes from the clinic, the Legacy West corridor is just north, and Frisco is about 22 minutes via the Dallas North Tollway. We also see patients from Allen, McKinney, Richardson, Addison and Carrollton.

Evening and weekend slots fill first, so booking a few days ahead gives you more choice of time. Call the clinic directly if you need something sooner and want to check same-day or next-day openings.

Most patients start to see movement soften within three to seven days, with the full result visible by day 14.

Results typically last three to four months before movement gradually returns. A stronger muscle tends to metabolize product faster than a lighter one, so your own timeline may run a little shorter or longer than average.

Most patients describe brief pinpricks rather than significant pain. Numbing options are available if you want them, and the appointment itself is short enough that discomfort rarely lasts beyond the injection.

Botox has the longest track record of the three and is often chosen for precise, fine placement. Dysport spreads a bit further once injected, which is why it is sometimes picked for broader areas like the forehead. Xeomin skips the accessory proteins the other two carry. None are dosed the same way per unit, so Jen quotes your total based on your plan rather than a per-unit comparison across brands.

An overdone look usually comes from treating every muscle at full strength regardless of how you actually move. Jen's assessment is built around your own movement, so the plan treats what needs softening and leaves the rest of your expression alone.

At InjectCo Plano, Botox treats forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, crow's feet, bunny lines on the nose, a lip flip, chin dimpling, jaw slimming and clenching from the masseter, and underarm sweating. Which of those your plan actually treats is decided at your assessment, based on how your face moves at rest and in motion.

TAKE THE FIRST STEP

Most Botox Regret Starts With a Rushed Appointment

Patients who book wherever had an opening are more likely to end up back in the chair for a correction than patients who waited for a real assessment. Jen's plan is built around how your own face moves, which is what keeps a forehead looking rested instead of treated.

Important Safety Information

Botox is a prescription medicine. It is not suitable for everyone, including people with certain neuromuscular conditions or an allergy to any component. Discuss your full medical history with your clinician before treatment.

Cosmetic Botox is a nonsurgical medical cosmetic procedure under Texas law. A Texas-licensed physician delegates the injection under a written protocol, and a registered nurse performs it within that delegation, with the required patient evaluation and physician supervision in place.

Side effects can include bruising, headache, temporary eyelid or brow droop, and asymmetry. Results vary between patients. See the FDA product record for Botox.
