When someone comes in asking us to fill one specific line, we usually start by looking at what is happening around it.
A smile line, for example, may look deeper because the cheek above it has lost support. Treating only the fold can add volume without correcting the reason the fold became more noticeable in the first place.
That is why we assess the whole face before choosing a syringe or a product. We look at the cheeks, temples, chin, jawline, lips, and how those areas balance with one another.
We also look at the face from more than one angle and at rest and in motion. The goal is not to make every feature larger. It is to decide where restoring support or proportion may create the most natural change.
Sometimes the right plan is one syringe.
Sometimes it is a staged plan across multiple appointments.
And sometimes the right answer is that filler is not the treatment the patient actually needs.
We would rather build gradually, allow the first treatment to settle, and reassess than try to create the entire result in one appointment.

Filler is the treatment where anatomy matters most, because the serious complication is vascular. Knowing exactly where the facial arteries run is what separates a safe cheek or under-eye placement from the rare complication every honest clinic warns you about. This matters because Radiesse is not the same type of injectable as a hyaluronic acid filler such as Juvederm or Restylane. Treatment planning, product behavior, anatomy, and the patient goals all affect how and when additional treatment makes sense.

Getting here. US-287 runs about half a mile east of us, and the QuikTrip at Brown Street and Indian Drive is the easiest landmark to aim for the first time. Professional Place sits next to Buffalo Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care, with New Life Worship Center directly across Brown Street. This is a medical and professional office pocket rather than a retail center, so the building is quiet and straightforward to find once you turn in.
Who we see. The Ellis County Courthouse and the downtown square are six minutes away, Waxahachie Towne Center is five, and the H-E-B on US-77 is under a mile. Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Waxahachie is eight minutes northeast via the US-287 bypass, and Nelson University and Stuart B. Lumpkins Stadium are both close by. The nearest comparable aesthetic medicine is in Cedar Hill, Mansfield or Dallas, 25 to 40 minutes out, which is why patients from across Ellis County book here instead.
Dermal fillers in Waxahachie, TX start at $699 per syringe at InjectCo MedSpa. Come with a clean face and no makeup if you can, and skip alcohol for 24 hours beforehand. If it is medically safe for you, hold off on aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E for a few days, since all of them raise the chance of bruising. Do not stop a prescribed blood thinner without asking the doctor who prescribed it. Tell your nurse about any previous filler, any cold sore history, and any dental work you have coming up.
Stay upright for at least four hours, skip strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and do not rub or massage the treated areas that day. Avoid facials and dental work for two weeks. Some swelling and bruising is normal. Swelling peaks at 24 to 48 hours and settles from there.
Results typically last six to eighteen months, depending on the product used and the area treated. Areas that move more, like the lips, tend to fade faster than areas like the cheeks or temples. Sculptra works differently: it builds collagen over two to three months rather than adding volume on the day, so its timeline is not directly comparable.

Juvederm and Restylane, both hyaluronic acid fillers, can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, and it is kept on site. Sculptra and Radiesse work by stimulating your own collagen rather than sitting under the skin as a gel, so they cannot be dissolved the same way.
Most patients describe pressure and brief pinpricks rather than real pain. Numbing is available if you want it, and most fillers already contain a numbing agent that helps during the injection.
Juvederm settles smoother and quicker, which suits soft volume in the cheeks and lips. Restylane holds its shape more firmly, which suits areas where definition matters more than softness, like the jawline or cheekbone. Your nurse will recommend one based on the specific area being treated.
A puffy look usually comes from adding volume without mapping where it is actually needed first. A proper assessment restores what is missing instead of layering extra on top of what is already there.

Dermal filler treatments at InjectCo Waxahachie are performed by licensed registered nurses under physician oversight, using FDA-approved products. Dermal fillers are prescription medical devices. Individual results vary based on your anatomy, the product selected, and the amount used.
An FDA-approved product is not the same as an FDA-approved use. A filler can be approved and legally marketed in the United States while a particular treatment area sits outside that product approved indication. That is called off-label use. It is lawful and common in medicine, but you should know when it applies to you. The FDA guidance on dermal fillers lists the nose among areas it has not approved for filler, so a non-surgical nose refinement is an off-label use of an approved product. Approved indications also differ from one formulation to the next. Your nurse will tell you when a treatment area falls outside a product approved indication, and why she is recommending it. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you want them adjusted or removed. Sculptra, a poly-L-lactic acid collagen stimulator, and Radiesse, a calcium hydroxylapatite injectable, work differently and are not reversible in the same way. Hyaluronidase does not dissolve Sculptra or Radiesse.
Who should not have filler. Treatment is not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is an active skin infection in the treatment area, or where you have a known hypersensitivity to the product or to lidocaine. Tell your injector if you take blood thinners or anticoagulants, as these raise the risk of bruising, and disclose any previous filler, autoimmune condition, or history of cold sores before treatment.
Common temporary effects include swelling, bruising, tenderness, and small firm areas that usually settle within two weeks.
Rare but serious risks. The most serious complication of any dermal filler is vascular occlusion, where product enters or compresses a blood vessel and restricts blood supply. It is rare, and it is the reason placement by a clinician trained in facial vascular anatomy matters. Contact the clinic immediately, or seek emergency care, if you notice any of the following after treatment: severe or increasing pain out of proportion to the procedure, skin that turns white, dusky, grey or mottled, a lace-like purple pattern on the skin, sudden vision changes or vision loss, or pain around the eye. These are time-critical. Hyaluronidase, the enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid filler, is kept on site, so early contact matters.
