Men from Argyle, Bartonville and Lantana book the P-Shot with us because the visit is private, the price is posted, and a named nurse does the work from first question to last injection. You also get a straight answer if the P-Shot is the wrong tool for your problem.
The P-Shot is an in-office treatment that injects platelet-rich plasma, made from your own blood, into the penis. A nurse draws a small blood sample, spins it to concentrate the platelets, numbs the area and injects the plasma. The aim is better erection quality and sensation. It is not a size treatment and it is not surgery.
Platelets carry growth factors. The thinking behind the P-Shot is that a concentrated dose placed in penile tissue may support blood vessels and nerves over the weeks that follow. That idea has been tested in only a few controlled trials, and they disagree, which the research section below lays out. Here in Argyle the P-Shot is $1,799 a session, and the nurse who answers your questions is the nurse who treats you.
The off-label part, in plain words. The centrifuge that prepares PRP is an FDA-cleared device. No PRP product is FDA-approved to treat erectile dysfunction or sexual function. The American Urological Association lists PRP for ED as experimental, so we present it as an option to weigh, not a promise.

Three nurse injectors treat patients at InjectCo MedSpa Argyle, and each of them performs the P-Shot, blood draw included. Pick the nurse you want when you book. That nurse runs your consult, your treatment and your follow-up messages.
Physician oversight. All three work under the medical direction of Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director, who sets InjectCo's treatment protocols and safety standards for every Texas clinic. Texas rules (22 Tex. Admin. Code §169.26) require a physician, or an APRN or PA acting under physician delegation, to set up the patient relationship before a nurse gives a delegated injection.

Start with the change you want. The P-Shot aims at erection quality and sensation, nothing else. Erection changes are also an early warning sign for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and low testosterone, and the AUA guideline on erectile dysfunction asks clinicians to rule those out first. This table shows where each goal usually starts:
| Your goal | Is the P-Shot aimed at it? | Where to start |
|---|---|---|
| Erections that are softer or less reliable than they used to be | Yes, as an off-label option. Trial results are mixed | A health review first, ideally with your own doctor in the loop |
| Duller sensation | It can be discussed. Little research measures sensation | A free consult at our FM 407 clinic |
| ED that came on suddenly, or with chest pain, diabetes or high blood pressure | No, not as a first step | Your physician or a urologist |
| More girth | No | A separate girth filler consult |
| More length | No | A urologist |
| A curve, a lump or pain with erections | No | A urologist |
| Low sex drive or constant tiredness | No | Your physician, for hormone and health tests |
When two rows apply, the medical row goes first. When the P-Shot does fit, your nurse walks you through the $1,799 price, what PRP could and could not change for you, and how the visit runs before anything is booked.
The P-Shot suits an adult man in reasonable health whose erections or sensation have slipped from mild to moderate, whose common medical causes have been checked or will be, and who is comfortable with early, mixed evidence. It works alongside your doctor's advice, never in place of it.
A list of your prescriptions and supplements (ED tablets, nitrates and blood thinners matter most), any recent lab results and a note of what you have already tried.
It cannot promise a result. Some men report firmer or more dependable erections, or better sensation, building over the weeks after treatment. Others notice no change at all, and nobody can tell you ahead of time which group you will be in.
It does not change size. No controlled study shows PRP adding length or girth, so we never sell it that way. It also does not fix a Peyronie's curve, raise testosterone or treat the conditions that often sit behind ED, such as diabetes or vascular disease.
It does not replace your prescription. ED tablets are FDA-approved for erectile dysfunction and PRP is not. Keep taking anything your doctor prescribed unless that doctor says otherwise.
Results are not permanent. Studies follow men for months, not years, so any change should be treated as temporary.
A medical problem needs a medical answer before any elective treatment. Please see your physician or a urologist first if any of these fit:
None of this rules out the P-Shot later. It just puts your health first, and we will tell you so at the consult.
| Option | How it works | FDA status | What it targets | Cost at InjectCo |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P-Shot (PRP) | Your own concentrated plasma, injected after numbing | Not approved for ED (off-label) | Erection quality and sensation | $1,799 a session |
| Shockwave therapy for ED | Low-intensity sound-wave pulses over a series of visits | Not approved for ED | Blood flow over time | Priced at your consultation |
| Girth filler | Filler placed under the skin of the shaft | Not approved for penile use | Thickness, not erections | Priced at your consultation |
| ED tablets | A prescription taken before sex | Approved for ED | An erection on demand | Through your doctor |
The P-Shot and shockwave therapy both aim at erections, while girth filler aims only at thickness. Some men try one route and later ask about another. Our Argyle shockwave and girth pages are linked under Related Men's Treatments further down. Whatever you choose, tell every clinician you see which treatments and medicines you use.
The research on PRP for erections is early and it points in two directions. The two placebo-controlled trials cited most often were small, studied men with mild to moderate ED and gave each man two treatments a month apart.
Trials prepare and dose PRP in different ways, and none followed men for years. Group results from study volunteers cannot predict what happens for you. You can read how InjectCo handles the P-Shot across its Texas clinics on our P-Shot service page.
No. The FDA has not approved any platelet-rich plasma treatment for erectile dysfunction or sexual function, so the P-Shot is an off-label use. PRP centrifuges reach the market through FDA 510(k) clearance, which covers the device, not injecting the plasma into the penis.
Since the plasma comes from your own body, an allergic reaction is unlikely. It is still fair to ask any clinic which PRP system it uses and how much plasma it injects.

The P-Shot at our Bartonville clinic is $1,799 a session, and the consultation before it costs nothing. Health insurance usually does not cover the P-Shot, and payment options, including the financing below, are reviewed with you at your consultation.
Approved patients can pay over time instead of all at once.
How it works: apply online with CareCredit or Cherry in a few minutes, get a decision on the spot, then bring your approval to your appointment. Our team can help you compare options during your consultation and apply on the day if you prefer.
Terms and rates are set by the financing provider. Our team will walk you through your total cost, including any financing fee, before anything is booked.
InjectCo MedSpa Argyle holds 4.9 from 72 Google reviews. Those reviews cover every treatment at the clinic, and no review names the P-Shot, because men rarely post about a private visit. The quotes below are about the nurses and the visit itself. Unedited Google reviews left by patients of this clinic. Individual results vary.
Do not expect a difference in the first days. Tenderness or a little swelling is normal at first. In the trials, men were checked at one, three and six months, and men who do notice a change usually describe it building slowly over several weeks to a few months. Some men notice nothing.
No one has shown how long a change lasts, so we do not promise a duration. Your written aftercare covers when sex and exercise can resume, how to manage soreness and which signs mean you should call us. Many men have one session, wait, and then decide with their nurse whether anything more makes sense. A second session is never automatic.
Because the plasma is your own, serious reactions are uncommon. The 2021 trial reported no adverse events and the 2023 trial judged PRP safe. Short-lived effects to expect:
Less common: infection, a small firm bump at an injection point, or a larger bruise. The most common downside is the one the research shows: paying for a treatment that may not work for you.
pain or swelling keeps getting worse, you develop a fever, discharge or spreading redness, a bump grows, or you see blood in your urine: (940) 298-1358. Go to an emergency room for an erection lasting more than four hours or sudden severe pain.
Every P-Shot at InjectCo MedSpa Argyle is given by our nurse injectors under the medical direction of Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director.
Erection problems start with a medical check. For everything else we offer on FM 407, from injectables to weight loss, see our med spa in Argyle page.
Girth filler adds thickness and does not treat erections. It has its own consult and its own risks.
Low-intensity sound waves aimed at blood flow, given over a series of visits and priced at your consultation.
Wrinkle relaxer for frown lines and forehead lines, with the same nurse team and a quick visit.

The P-Shot is $1,799 a session at InjectCo MedSpa Argyle. That covers the consult, the blood draw, the PRP preparation, numbing and the injections. Package pricing is discussed at your consultation, the consultation itself is free, and health insurance usually does not cover the P-Shot.
It places platelet-rich plasma from your own blood into the penis, with the goal of better erection quality and sensation over the following weeks. Evidence is early and mixed, results vary and are not permanent, and it does not add length or girth.
Numbing cream is applied first. Most men describe pressure or brief discomfort during the injections, then soreness or tenderness for a day or two. You will also feel the usual quick pinch of a blood draw in your arm.
Not in the first days. In the published trials men were checked at one, three and six months, and men who do notice a change usually describe it building over several weeks to a few months. Some men notice no change, and no one can promise how long a change lasts.
Both aim at erections in different ways. The P-Shot uses your own plasma in one visit at $1,799 a session. Shockwave therapy uses sound-wave pulses over a series of visits and is priced at your consultation. Neither is FDA-approved for ED, and your nurse can talk through both at one free consult.
Yes. You are seen in a closed treatment room by one nurse, inside Cloud 9 at Bartonville Town Center on FM 407. You can send a question through the private form on this page before you book, and you never have to explain the reason for your visit at the front desk.
Sometimes, but it is decided at your consult. The two treatments have different goals, risks and timing, so your nurse plans the order with your health history in view. Our Argyle girth filler page is linked under Related Men's Treatments on this page.
No. No PRP treatment is FDA-approved for erectile dysfunction or sexual function, so the P-Shot is off-label. The centrifuge that prepares PRP is an FDA-cleared device, which is not the same as approval for this use.
Yes. Our clinic on FM 407 is about 18 minutes from Flower Mound and about 22 minutes from Denton by our measured weekday-morning drive times, and about 5 minutes from Lantana. We are open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Serious problems are uncommon because the plasma is your own. The 2021 trial reported no adverse events, and the 2023 trial judged PRP safe. Brief soreness and bruising are common. It is still a medical procedure, so your nurse reviews your history and medicines first.
No. Controlled studies do not show PRP increasing length or girth. If thickness is your goal, that is a girth filler consult, which is a different treatment with different risks.
Many men have one session and review the result before deciding anything else. The trials used two treatments a month apart, but any second session is your choice, and package pricing is discussed at your consultation.
Most men return to work the same day or the next day. Your written aftercare explains when sex and exercise can resume and what soreness or bruising is normal.
See a urologist or your own physician first if ED started suddenly or came with chest pain, if it is new and you also have diabetes or high blood pressure, or if you notice a new curve, a lump, painful erections, or blood in urine or semen. An erection that lasts longer than four hours is an emergency.
Ask who performs it and what training they have, which PRP system they use, how much plasma they inject, the full price per session, what happens if you notice no change, and who answers if something feels wrong afterward. A good clinic answers each one plainly.

About this treatment: the P-Shot places platelet-rich plasma (PRP), concentrated from a sample of your own blood, into penile tissue. The FDA has not approved PRP for erectile dysfunction or for sexual function, so this is an off-label use, and the AUA still classes it as experimental. InjectCo MedSpa Argyle offers it only after a consult, given by nurse injectors under physician delegation. It is not a size treatment.
Individual results vary. Any change may fade over time, and no result is guaranteed.
Expected effects are short-lived: soreness, bruising, mild swelling and a little bleeding where the needle went in or where blood was drawn. Less often, an infection or a small firm bump can follow. Men who take blood thinners, have a platelet or bleeding disorder, or have an active genital infection may need to wait or skip it. Share every diagnosis and medicine with your nurse, and have your physician look at any new or worsening ED. This information is educational and does not replace medical advice.
Medical oversight: Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director, InjectCo MedSpa.
