The Training
Botulinum Toxin & Dermal Filler Training Courses For Physician Assistants
Physician assistants have various avenues they can take within the medical field. Regardless of choosing to work as a general practitioner under a physician or aid in surgery, a physician assistant’s career can easily become stagnant, and lead to feelings of burnout. Additionally, with many physician assistants with similar training and skills, it can be difficult to stand out among applicants. This is where Botox Bar’s Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler training course for physician assistants can offer vital training.
Performing Aesthetic Injections Will Boost A PA’s Career
Becoming a certified clinical injector allows for expansion of medical knowledge. Not only does this make physician assistants more employable to doctors who may use Botox or fillers in their practice, but it also increases earning potential. It gives PAs the flexibility to work at the hospital during the week, and perform injections on the weekend. They can also choose to fully transfer into the medical aesthetic field, create their own aesthetic practice, and have more scheduling flexibility.
Additionally, when examining patient interactions between the medical and medical aesthetics field, both patients and providers tend to have much more pleasant experiences during aesthetic treatments. This is because the provider sees patients when they are at their best. Plus, there is an additional opportunity for friendly interaction and collaboration.
Summary Of Benefits
- More ideal patient pacing (see fewer patients in the same amount of time)
- Friendlier patient interactions
- Increase employability
- Opportunities to become a business owner
- Lower risk than a majority of medical treatments
- Better patient outcomes and having a more direct impact on the outcomes

Online Self-Paced Lecture Course
The first course is a self-paced online course that covers all of the basics of Botox, fillers, and anatomy. This is a great introduction to those brand new to the aesthetic injecting space. It consists of approximately six hours of lectures that can do on a weekend or over several weeks. It is completely up to the student and allows them the freedom and flexibility to begin their journey as a cosmetic nurse before leaving their 9 to 5.
The self-paced online lecture series does not include hands-on training. However, the student can add a hands-on course at any time. Students also will continue to have access to the training materials after finishing the course.
Course II: $3,000
One on One Hands-On Training
The hands-on training course allows registered nurses to inject Botox and filler on real, live patients. An advanced clinical injector will mentor and monitor the student throughout the entire course. Each course is a little different, but the registered nurse may perform injections such as:
- Lip filler
- Smile line filler
- Cheek filler
- Lip Flip treatment
- Cosmetic Botox
This course is one-on-one, which offers a unique and less stressful experience for Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler training. We aim to provide registered nurses with more than a one-time training session.

See what one of our students had to say!
“When I first signed up for Botox Bar’s course, I was slightly terrified to go beyond my comfort zone and learn brand new skills to be used in an area of medicine that was entirely new to me. Prior to the course, I immersed myself in the didactic and videos. But, I still felt nervous about injecting a live patient for the first time. Fortunately, I was surrounded by a great instructor that eased my fears by answering my questions, and helped me adapt my injection technique. My instructor was certainly an expert in their field, and gave countless helpful tips and tricks to get the best products and tools, stay organized, remember muscles, give appropriate doses, and in the end, have an extremely satisfied patient. I carried the confidence that my instructor gave me as I injected my first patient in a clinical setting and then furthered my education through advanced training.”
