Lip Filler in Dallas, TX, Designed Before It Is Injected

Lip filler is a hyaluronic acid gel placed in and around the lips to restore volume, define the border, or correct asymmetry. You will also see it called lip injections or lip augmentation, and they all describe the same treatment. It is not permanent, and it can be dissolved if you change your mind. Most patients need half a syringe to one full syringe, results are visible immediately, and swelling settles within about two weeks.

Lip filler is not the same treatment as a lip flip, even though the two are often confused. Filler adds volume or structure using a gel placed under the skin. A lip flip uses a small amount of neurotoxin to change how the upper lip sits, without adding any volume at all. Which one fits your goals, or whether you need both, is usually clear within the first few minutes of your assessment.

Lips do not exist on their own. A lip that looks too big for a face is sometimes a lip that is simply proportionate to a recessed chin or a soft jawline, and adding another syringe does not fix that mismatch. It adds more of the thing that already looks out of balance.

Chin projection and jawline definition change how lips read, sometimes more than another syringe in the lips would. If your injector recommends treating the chin instead of adding more to your lips, that is worth hearing, even though it is not the answer most lip filler pages are built to give you.

Driving: US-75, the North Central Expressway, runs about a quarter mile west of the clinic. Exit at Haskell Avenue or Lemmon Avenue and come east. Fitzhugh Avenue is a second way in from the freeway, and Woodall Rodgers Freeway is under a mile southwest.

By rail: Cityplace/Uptown Station at 2711 N Haskell Ave is about half a mile away, on the Red, Blue and Orange lines. It is the only underground rail station in Texas, and the free M-Line Trolley stops there too.

Landmarks: Uptown and West Village sit just across Central Expressway, about a mile west. The Knox Street district is roughly a mile north, Lower Greenville about the same to the east, and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center is around a mile and a half southeast on Gaston Avenue.

Patients come to the N Carroll Ave clinic from across central and east Dallas. Uptown, Knox-Henderson, Lower Greenville, Old East Dallas, Swiss Avenue, Bryan Place, State-Thomas, Oak Lawn and Highland Park all sit within about two miles. Deep Ellum, Munger Place, Lakewood and Downtown are a little further out, at roughly two to three miles.
