Kybella in Dallas, TX is offered at InjectCo MedSpa, 2520 N Carroll Ave, a 100% nurse-led clinic where physician assistant Shelby, PA-C works alongside Haya Jayne, BSN, RN. Every treatment is given under the medical direction of Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director. Kybella is $799 per vial, most people need more than one vial per session, and the full plan and cost are set at your consultation before anything is injected.
Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a copy of a substance your body already uses to break down dietary fat. Injected into the fat under the chin, it destroys those fat cells, and your body clears them over the following weeks. It is a gradual treatment, usually done over more than one session. Comparing options first? Our med spa in Dallas page lists every treatment we offer.

A recessed chin and a full chin can look alike in profile, but they need opposite treatments. Kybella reduces fat under the chin. Filler adds projection to the chin bone area. If your profile is soft because the chin sits back, dermal fillers in Dallas may suit you better, and some plans use both.
Each session treats part of the fat, and your body needs about a month to clear what was destroyed before the next one. The FDA label allows up to six sessions spaced at least one month apart, and many people reach their goal in two to four. You can read more on our Kybella treatment page.
At InjectCo Dallas, on North Carroll Avenue at Belmont Avenue just east of Central Expressway, your provider pinches and measures the fat under your chin, checks how loose the skin is, and looks at your profile before suggesting vials or sessions. Kybella is not right for everyone, and you will hear that at your first visit if it is not right for you.

Shelby, PA-C is a Physician Assistant and Clinical Aesthetic Injector at InjectCo Dallas. She holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and a Medical Aesthetic Injector Certification from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and she came to aesthetics from cosmetic plastic surgery.

Haya Jayne, BSN, RN is a Clinical Aesthetic Nurse Injector at the same Dallas clinic. She is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and four years of clinical nursing behind her, and she is certified in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
Shelby and Haya treat under the medical direction of Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director, who sets the clinical protocols used at all nine InjectCo clinics in Texas.
Texas treats cosmetic injections as the practice of medicine. The Texas Medical Board allows a physician to delegate them to licensed providers, such as a physician assistant or a registered nurse, under written protocols and supervision, as set out in 22 Texas Administrative Code §169.25. That is the framework your Kybella treatment follows here. It does not mean a physician performs each injection.
CHIN LIPOSUCTION

The first question most people ask is how many vials of Kybella they will need.
That depends on how much fat sits under the chin, how wide the area is, and how your body responds after the first session, which no one can know before an assessment.
A small, well-defined pocket of fat may need a short plan.
A fuller area may need more vials per session and more sessions, spread a month or more apart.
Before any vial is opened, your provider explains the plan and what it will cost.
Approved patients can begin treatment the same day and pay over time instead of all at once.
How it works: apply online with CareCredit or Cherry in a few minutes, get a decision on the spot, then bring your approval to your appointment. Our team can help you compare options during your consultation and apply on the day if you prefer.
Terms and rates are set by the financing provider. Your nurse will walk you through your total cost, including any financing fee, before anything is booked.
Some Dallas patients pair Kybella with a little chin filler for projection, or with Botox for expression lines. The calculator estimates filler syringes and Botox units so you can see a starting range for those parts of a plan. Kybella itself is $799 per vial, with the vial count set at your consultation.
Choose your areas and get an instant estimate for filler syringes and Botox units. It takes about a minute, and you can bring the number to your Dallas consultation.
This tool does not price Kybella. Your provider confirms products and amounts after assessing your face and neck.

Choose Kybella if the fullness under your chin is a pad of fat you can pinch, your skin still has good snap, and you are fine with a gradual change over a few sessions. It suits people who want less under the chin, not more on it.
Choose chin filler if your chin sits back and makes the neck look softer than it is. Filler adds projection the same day, and because it is hyaluronic acid it can be dissolved if needed.
Some plans use both. A common order is Kybella first to reduce the fat, then a small amount of chin filler once the swelling has settled, so the new profile is judged on its own before anything is added. Which order suits you is decided at your consultation.
Right after a session, the area under the chin swells, and for a few days it can look fuller than before. The fat that was treated is cleared over the following weeks, so most people first notice a change after their second session. That gap is normal, and it is the reason sessions are spaced at least a month apart.

Your provider sets the vial count at your consultation, based on how much fat sits under your chin and how wide the area is. Many people need more than one vial per session. You will know the number of vials and the cost before treatment starts.
The FDA label allows up to six sessions, spaced at least one month apart. Many people need two to four. Your provider reviews the change at each visit before deciding whether another session is needed.
Most people see a change after their second session. The final shape usually shows about four to six weeks after the last session, once the treated fat has cleared and the swelling has gone.
Yes. Swelling, bruising, numbness and firmness under the chin are common for one to two weeks after each session. Rare risks include an uneven smile from irritation of the nerve that moves the lower lip, and trouble swallowing. Call the clinic if either happens.
It depends on the cause. Kybella removes fat cells under the chin. Chin filler adds projection to a chin that sits back. Some plans use both, usually Kybella first and filler later. Your provider will tell you which one, or which order, fits your profile.
Kybella is $799 per vial at InjectCo Dallas. Your total depends on the vials used in each session and the number of sessions, and your provider gives you both before any injection.
Shelby, PA-C, a Physician Assistant, and Haya Jayne, BSN, RN, a registered nurse, both perform Kybella at our Dallas clinic, under the medical direction of Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director.
Kybella is not given where there is an infection at the injection site, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it is approved for adults only. Tell your provider if you have trouble swallowing, have had surgery or other treatment on your neck or chin, or take blood thinners.
Most people feel a burning or stinging sensation for a short time after the injections, followed by tenderness. Ice or a numbing cream can be used beforehand to keep it more comfortable.
Fat cells destroyed by Kybella do not come back, so once you reach your goal, more treatment is not usually expected. Large changes in weight can still affect how the area under the chin looks.
The most common Kybella regret is not the medicine. It is stopping after one session, or judging the result while the area is still swollen, before the treated fat has had time to clear.
At InjectCo Dallas, your provider checks what is under your chin first and sets out a plan you can see before any vial is opened, with the cost included.
We are open seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Prefer to call or text? Reach the Dallas team at (214) 216-1033.
Kybella (deoxycholic acid) is FDA-approved to improve the look of moderate to severe fat under the chin in adults. It is not approved for other areas of the body, and using it elsewhere would be off-label. At our Dallas clinic it is used under the chin. Read the FDA prescribing information for Kybella.
Kybella cannot be undone. Once fat cells are destroyed, the body clears them, which is why your provider treats in measured sessions and checks the change before each one.
Kybella can irritate the nerve that moves the lower lip, causing an uneven smile or lower-lip weakness, which has resolved in clinical studies. It can also cause trouble swallowing, and, rarely, sores or skin damage at the injection site if it reaches a blood vessel.
These signs need fast attention. Call us at (214) 216-1033 or seek emergency care rather than waiting to see if they pass.
Before your first session, share your medical history and medicines, plus any allergies or earlier treatment on your face, chin or neck. The Kybella treatment page explains how the medicine works in more detail. This page is general education and not medical advice.
Medical oversight: Dr. Josh Allen, D.O., Medical Director, InjectCo MedSpa.
