Genniel, RN
InjectCo is Austin's 100% nurse-led clinic for Kybella, with more than 10,000 treatments performed across nine Texas locations. We are on the East 6th Street corridor in the Holly neighborhood, between Robert T. Martinez Jr. Street and Pedernales Street.
If you know the H-E-B on East 7th Street, we are a few blocks south of it.
From $799 per vial. Kybella dissolves fat under the chin, which makes it a different tool from filler and a slower one.

Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a substance your body already makes to break down dietary fat. Injected under the chin, it destroys fat cells in the treated area.
Those particular cells do not regenerate. That said, the result is not immune to future weight change, because the fat cells that remain in the area can still enlarge. Your nurse will be straightforward with you about that.
Three things patients consistently underestimate.
It takes multiple sessions. Most patients need two to four, spaced about a month apart, and often more than one vial per session.
The swelling is real. Expect noticeable swelling under the chin for several days, sometimes up to two weeks. Plan around events.
It only treats fat. If the fullness is loose skin or a chin that sits too far back, Kybella will not fix it. Your nurse will tell you which you have before you commit to a course.
Kybella is FDA-approved for submental fat, the area under the chin.
Your Kybella is placed by Genniel, RN, a Clinical Aesthetic Nurse Injector at our East 6th Street clinic. She treats Austin patients through the week.
Kybella is placed in a grid across the treatment area, so mapping decides how even the result is. Genniel assesses whether the fullness is genuinely fat before recommending a course. A physician backs the clinical team.
InjectCo is 100% nurse-led. Every Kybella appointment is handled by a trained nurse with physician oversight, so you are working with someone who understands both the clinical side of the treatment and the Austin community they serve.

Approved patients can begin treatment the same day and pay over time instead of all at once.
How it works: apply online with CareCredit or Cherry in a few minutes, get a decision on the spot, then bring your approval to your appointment. Our team can help you compare options during your consultation and apply on the day if you prefer.
Terms and rates are set by the financing provider. Your nurse will walk you through your total cost, including any financing fee, before anything is booked.
Most Austin patients want a number before they arrive. The honest answer depends on your anatomy and goals, which your nurse assesses in person. The calculator gives a realistic range to plan around.
Pick your treatment areas and get an instant unit and cost estimate. It takes about a minute and gives you a realistic number to bring to your Austin assessment.

Most plans use more than one treatment, sequenced rather than stacked in a single visit. Your nurse maps the whole face first so each step supports the next instead of correcting it.

Kybella at InjectCo MedSpa Austin starts at $799 per vial. Most patients use more than one vial per session and do a short series, so your total depends on how much fat is under your chin. Your nurse maps the plan at your consultation and gives you the full price in writing before you start.
It depends on the amount of fat under your chin. Most patients use several vials per session and do two to four sessions spaced about a month apart. Your nurse estimates the number of vials and sessions at your consultation so you know the full plan up front, rather than guessing as you go.
Yes. Because Bellafill contains bovine collagen, the FDA requires a skin test about four weeks before your treatment to check for an allergic reaction. At InjectCo MedSpa Austin we schedule the test, wait the required time, then treat if the test is clear. This is a safety step, not an upsell.
Yes. Kybella uses deoxycholic acid to destroy fat cells under the chin, and those cells do not grow back. Once you reach your goal, most patients do not need more treatment, though significant weight gain can still change the area. This is a key difference from filler, which is temporary. Keeping a stable weight helps the result last.
No. This is the most common mix-up. Filler adds volume. Kybella does the opposite, it dissolves fat. Kybella is a fat reducer made of deoxycholic acid and is FDA-approved only for the fat under the chin. Your nurse will explain which treatment fits your goal, since some patients want fat reduced and filler added in different areas.
Numbing keeps the injections comfortable. Afterward, swelling under the chin is normal and expected, sometimes for a few days up to two weeks, which is actually a sign the treatment is working. Most patients go back to normal activity the same day. A cold compress helps the first day.
Botox relaxes the muscles that make expression lines on the upper face, like forehead lines and crow's feet. Dermal filler adds volume and structure on the mid and lower face, like the cheeks, chin, and jawline. Many patients combine them in a liquid facelift. Kybella is different from both, it reduces fat rather than relaxing muscles or adding volume.
Kybella is a non-surgical option with no incisions and no general anesthesia, which many patients prefer for a moderate double chin. Surgery may suit larger amounts of fat or loose skin. At your consultation, your nurse will tell you honestly if Kybella is the right fit or if another approach would serve you better.
You will not see the final result right away. After each session, swelling settles over one to two weeks, and the fat clears over the weeks that follow. Results build across your short series of sessions. Most patients notice a clear change after their second session and reach their goal by the end of the plan.
Kybella is a commitment of several months, not a single appointment. The assessment tells you whether it is the right tool for your anatomy before you spend anything.
Evening and weekend slots at the Austin clinic fill first.
Treatment at InjectCo MedSpa Austin is performed by licensed registered nurses under physician supervision. Kybella is FDA-approved for submental fullness in adults.
Tell your provider about all medications and supplements, any autoimmune condition, and any previous reaction to an injectable. Treatment is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or over active infection in the treatment area.
Results vary between individuals depending on anatomy, product selected and dose. Destroyed fat cells do not regenerate, though the treated area is not immune to future weight gain. Most patients need more than one session.
Individual results vary. This treatment may not be suitable for everyone. Consult your medical provider.
