Here’s what we’ll cover:
If you’ve been searching for dermal fillers near you in Texas, you’ve already noticed how much conflicting information is out there. Some sites push a specific brand. Others quote prices that have no connection to what clinics in DFW actually charge. Almost none of them tell you which filler is right for your specific concern.
This guide does that. It covers what each type of dermal filler actually does, what they cost in 2026, and what your experience at InjectCo looks like from the first call through the follow-up. Everything here comes from clinical experience with thousands of patients across our 9 Texas locations.
Dermal fillers are FDA-cleared injectable substances placed under the skin to restore volume, smooth lines, or reshape specific facial features. Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance your body already produces naturally. Results are typically visible within 24 to 48 hours and last anywhere from 9 months to 2 years, depending on the product used and the area treated.
They are not the same as Botox. Botox relaxes the muscles that create expression lines. Fillers physically add volume. Many patients get the best results from both, which is why a consultation before deciding matters more than picking a product first.
Fillers can be placed in the lips, cheeks, jawline, chin, temples, under the eyes, and along the nose. The right placement, in the right amount, with the right product, is what creates results that look natural rather than overdone. At our clinics, we regularly see patients who had a disappointing experience elsewhere because they were sold a brand instead of a plan.
Most guides list product names without explaining when each one makes sense. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, several categories of dermal fillers are FDA-cleared for use in the United States. Here is what each one does and where InjectCo uses them across Texas.
| Filler Type | Main Ingredient | Duration | Best For | At InjectCo |
| Hyaluronic Acid (HA) | Hyaluronic acid | 9-18 months | Lips, cheeks, under eyes, jawline | Yes |
| Calcium Hydroxylapatite | Radiesse (CaHA) | 12-18 months | Cheeks, jawline, hand rejuvenation | Yes |
| Poly-L-lactic Acid | Sculptra | 18-24 months | Gradual volume, temples, cheeks | Yes |
| Polymethylmethacrylate | Bellafill (PMMA) | 5+ years | Deep acne scars, nasolabial folds | Yes |
| Hyaluronidase | Enzyme-based | N/A | Dissolves HA fillers if needed | Yes |
HA fillers are the most commonly placed at InjectCo because they are reversible, extensively studied in peer-reviewed research, and effective across the widest range of treatment areas. Juvederm and Restylane are the two brands you will encounter most. The difference between them is viscosity and placement technique, not quality.
For patients who want gradual, long-lasting volume rather than an immediate result, Sculptra takes a different approach. It works by stimulating your own collagen over 3 to 4 months and typically requires 2 to 3 sessions. It asks for different expectations, but the results often last significantly longer.
One patient we treat regularly, a woman in her mid-50s from the Plano area, came in after using three different clinics and getting three very different results. She had received Juvederm, Restylane, and Sculptra from three separate injectors with no unified plan behind any of it. What we told her was the same thing we tell everyone at InjectCo: the product choice should follow the plan. Not the other way around.

Dermal filler costs in Texas range from $650 to $1,200 per syringe in most nurse-led clinics and from $900 to $1,800 at physician-run plastic surgery centers. The price gap does not always reflect a difference in results. Board-certified cosmetic surgeons and experienced nurse injectors with advanced training both practice in each setting.
What actually drives your total cost at any clinic in Texas comes down to three factors.
A full facial balancing treatment, which is one of InjectCo’s most requested services in Fort Worth and Plano, is planned across multiple syringes with a mapped injection approach before a single unit is placed.
You can see a current breakdown of what InjectCo charges by visiting our dermal fillers service page. For lip-specific pricing, our 2026 lip filler cost guide covers every syringe size and brand. One thing we do not do at InjectCo: charge a brand premium when a comparable product achieves the same result.

InjectCo has 9 locations across Texas. Primary clinic locations include Fort Worth, Plano, Dallas, Colleyville, Argyle, Cleburne, Waxahachie, The Woodlands, and Austin. Every location is nurse-led. The person placing your filler is a licensed registered nurse with clinical aesthetics training, not an aesthetician or a supervised assistant.
Here is what the visit actually looks like. You come in for an initial assessment. Your injector looks at your face, asks what you want to change and what you want to keep, and maps out a treatment plan. Nothing gets placed without that step. We are not set up for patients who want to book, sit down, and be out in 20 minutes with filler placed from a picture they liked online. That is not how good outcomes happen.
Treatment itself takes 30 to 45 minutes for most single-area placements. Lips, cheeks, and jawline are the most common. There will be some swelling. Most of it resolves within 3 to 5 days. Bruising is possible, particularly around the lips. Results for HA fillers are visible within 24 hours. Sculptra results develop gradually over 3 to 4 months.
You can also pair dermal fillers with lip fillers or full facial balancing in Texas, which is InjectCo’s approach to treating multiple areas in one session with a structured proportion plan. Many patients in Fort Worth and Plano find this gives them the most natural-looking outcome without the guesswork of booking individual areas separately.
Most adults over 21 in reasonable general health are candidates for HA fillers. You do not need visible aging to benefit. Many patients in their late 20s and early 30s use fillers for lip volume or early cheek projection well before significant volume loss begins.
You may not be a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection in the treatment area, take blood thinners, or have a history of severe allergic reactions to filler ingredients.
It is recommended that discussing your full medical history with your provider before any injectable treatment. We hold to the same standard at every InjectCo location.
If you have had fillers placed before, especially if you are not sure what product was used or where, come in for a consultation before adding more.
Layering products without understanding what is already there is one of the most common causes of the unnatural look patients are trying to avoid. If there is ever a concern, our clinics carry hyaluronidase, which dissolves HA filler safely and quickly.

Q: How long do dermal fillers last?
A: Most HA fillers last 9 to 18 months, depending on the product and area treated. Lips metabolize filler faster than cheeks or jawline. Radiesse and Sculptra last longer, between 12 and 24 months, because they work with your own collagen production rather than sitting as a standalone substance under the skin.
Q: Are dermal fillers safe?
A: FDA-cleared HA fillers have a strong safety record when placed by a trained injector in the correct anatomical plane. The most common side effects are bruising, swelling, and temporary tenderness that resolves within a week. Serious complications are rare but exist, which is exactly why clinical placement by a licensed nurse matters. You can review the FDA’s official guidance on dermal filler risks before your appointment.
Q: What is the difference between Juvederm and Restylane?
A: Both are HA fillers with strong safety records. Juvederm products tend to integrate smoothly and work well in softer tissue areas like the lips. Restylane products are typically firmer and often preferred for under-eye treatment or structural definition in the jawline and chin. Your injector will recommend based on the area, not brand preference.
Q: Does getting filler hurt?
A: Most patients describe the sensation as a pinch or mild pressure. Modern HA fillers contain lidocaine, which numbs the area as the product is placed. Lips are more sensitive than cheeks or jawline. Most patients leave the appointment without significant discomfort and return to normal activities the same day.
Q: How many syringes will I need?
A: It depends on the area and your starting point. One syringe for lips is common. Two to three syringes for cheeks and jawline is typical for moderate volume restoration. There is no honest answer without a proper assessment first, which is why InjectCo does not skip that step.
Q: Can I reverse dermal fillers?
A: Yes. HA fillers can be dissolved quickly with hyaluronidase, an enzyme-based solution that breaks down the product. Non-HA fillers like Radiesse and Sculptra cannot be reversed. This is one of the main reasons InjectCo defaults to HA fillers for first-time patients.
Q: How much do dermal fillers cost at InjectCo in Texas?
A: Pricing varies by filler type, number of syringes, and location. Most HA filler treatments at InjectCo start in the $650 to $950 range per syringe. Visit our dermal fillers service page for current pricing or text your nearest clinic directly.
