Most products used are hyaluronic acid and can be dissolved, which is exactly why a staged plan is sensible. Nothing has to be permanent before you are sure.

We are directly across East 6th from UT Elementary Charter School, about a third of a mile from the H-E-B at 2701 East 7th Street, and roughly two-thirds of a mile east of the Plaza Saltillo MetroRail station. I-35 is about a mile west, and East Cesar Chavez Street is a few blocks south.
We serve patients across East, Central and South Austin. Typical drives are East Cesar Chavez about 4 minutes, Downtown about 10, Cherrywood about 11, Travis Heights about 12, Mueller about 13, Bouldin Creek about 15, Hyde Park and Windsor Park about 16, South Congress about 17, Zilker about 19, Tarrytown about 20, Rollingwood about 22 and West Lake Hills about 23. The goal is proportion, so each feature supports the others and the result looks natural rather than done. It usually uses filler across several areas, and sometimes a wrinkle relaxer, built over one or more visits.
Facial balancing at InjectCo MedSpa Austin starts at $699 per syringe. Since balancing treats several areas, most plans use more than one syringe, often across more than one visit, so your exact total depends on your specific treatment plan. Your nurse injector sets the syringe count at your consultation and gives you the full price in writing before you start.
It depends on your face and goal. Some patients get full facial balancing with only two or three syringes; a fuller plan may use more, spread across visits. Your nurse maps which facial areas to treat and in what order, then gives you an honest syringe count up front so there are no surprises.
Most hyaluronic acid fillers used in facial balancing last about 6 to 18 months, depending on the product and treatment area. Cheeks and chin often last longer than lips. If your plan includes Sculptra, that builds collagen for a more gradual, longer result. Your nurse will tell you what to expect for each area in your plan.
For patients who feel one feature is out of proportion with the rest, a whole-face plan often looks more natural than treating a single area alone. Facial balancing considers how each feature affects the others. At your consultation, your nurse will tell you honestly whether a full plan or a single-area treatment fits your goals better.
Botox relaxes the muscles that make expression lines on the upper face, like forehead lines and crow's feet. Dermal filler adds volume and structure on the mid and lower face, like the cheeks, chin, and jawline. Many patients combine them in a liquid facelift. Facial balancing is built mostly on filler, with a wrinkle relaxer added when it helps the overall harmony.
The whole point of balancing is to achieve better facial harmony and a more proportioned result. Filler is placed to keep your facial movement and expression, and your nurse builds the plan in stages so each visit looks natural on its own.
Numbing keeps the treatment comfortable. Most patients return to normal activity the same day. Some swelling or bruising is normal for a few days and settles on its own. Full results settle in over 3 to 7 days as swelling resolves. Your nurse gives you simple aftercare steps to help.
Yes, and larger plans often are. Building the result in stages lets each area settle before the next is treated, which keeps the look natural and lets your nurse fine-tune your results. Your consultation sets the plan, including how many visits make sense for your face and budget.
If you have had filler before and thought the result was fine but not quite right, balancing is usually what was missing. The assessment is where that gets identified.

Known risks include swelling, bruising, tenderness, lumps or firm areas, and asymmetry. Rare but serious risks include vascular occlusion. Tell your provider about all medications, blood thinners and any previous treatment in the area.
