  • Post-Treatment Care: This can happen if you ignore your post-care instructions.
  • External Factors: There are cases where some factors like sleeping position or even gravity have affected the movement but these cases are very rare.

There can be no guarantee to any such complications but if preventive measures are taken the risk of this type of filler migration can be reduced.

  • You must clearly explain your goals to the injector to avoid any confusion in choosing the type of fillers.
  • Try to go for thicker fillers in the areas where filler migration can happen, like lips.
  • Follow the aftercare instructions properly.
  • Maintain a good posture while sleeping. Do not put too much pressure on the filler to protect them.

  • In some cases, the filler which is moved from one place can be distributive over time. Patients are asked to keep a watch on it for some time.
  • An enzyme called Hyaluronidase is applied to dissolve acid-based fillers.
  • If the movement is very slight, you can go for more filler to balance the appearance.
  • As guided by the injector, you can do a gentle massage which will help redistribute the fillers.

She believes in a “lead to serve” mentality, hoping to create a more personal connection with both her patients and team alike. Kiara curated a team of 13 professionals across eight clinics, six of which are in DFW, one in Houston, and one in Austin.
Kiara loves nothing more than creating a collaborating, educational approach with her team, and thrives on personal and professional growth opportunities. She hopes that her patients feel heard and encouraged at every InjectCo visit and that they are truly excited about their personalized and well-designed aesthetic treatment plan. Kiara’s patients recognize her and the entire InjectCo team as highly skilled and extremely thorough clinicians. She hopes to continue being a knowledgeable and approachable resource for clinical injectors across the country who are hoping to grow and scale their aesthetic business.
